One of the problems designers encounter prototyping circuits using thru-hole PCB technology is the difficulty obtaining certain parts other than as SMD parts.

To make the replacement of standard but sometimes hard to find (and expensive !) 8 pin DIP devices (eg MAX477) with cheaper SMD equivalents, we have made available our own in-house solution.
