BitScope WaveMeter | Development Notes
Version 1.1
This page contains release notes for the development versions of BitScope WaveMeter.
The development versions may be freely downloaded and can be used instead of production versions.
However this software is likely to have more bugs than the production releases and it is not guaranteed to be compatible with all BitScopes.
Development versions normally support all the features of the production versions but add new capabilities (in development).
Online documentation may not be available for development releases.
However you can usually use the production release manuals for most applications features but it will likely need to be read in conjunction with the release notes included with the software itself to learn about the new features.
The development version is intended for beta testers or those who want to use the latest software and don't mind a few bugs. If this is not you use the production versions.

To help distribute new features faster, WaveMeter development is split into two streams:
- Production Series for production versions (fewer updates, stable features, fewer bugs).
- Development Series for beta versions (more updates, new features, more bugs).
It will soon be possible to download development versions without joining the beta program and this page is where you will find news of development releases and links to download the updates.
There are no new development versions of WaveMeter at this time.
We recommend the production release for now.
