BitScope Micro & Raspberry Pi - the perfect combination !

We are very pleased to announce BitScope Micro our new full feature Mixed Signal Scope in a Probe!

Late last year we ported our software to launch Raspberry Pi Oscilloscope based on BitScope Mini. We were just blown away by the response!

It seems a lot of people want a scope for Raspberry Pi and we knew BS10 was an ideal starting point. It's small, low power, high performance & USB.

However, for many people BS10 has more than they need and we've been asked frequently if we could make an even smaller BitScope for the Pi.

Enter BitScope Micro! This is our smallest, most cost effective model yet but it's still a full feature BitScope. It's an Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Waveform & Clock generator and Spectrum Analyzer all configured as a tiny light weight water resistant mixed signal probe!

Like all BitScopes this model has a dual channel digital oscilloscope and multi-channel logic analyzer built-in.

The analog channels have standard scope specifications so simple BNC adapters can be used to connect regular scope probes.

It is supplied with 10 mixed signal clips (as shown), USB cable and our full range of software compatible with Raspberry Pi.

BS05 has programmable waveform & clock generation and includes a spectrum analyzer but it is a little different to our other models in one respect; it uses a new compact IDC-10 based connector instead of the usual Smart Port 26 way connector.

This has allowed us to make this model as small as possible while retaining most of the features of the Smart Port models. It also inherits some neat BS10 features like variable switching levels for logic channels D6 and D7, impedance sensing, multiple input ranges and macro resolution analog inputs (up to 12 bits below 1 MHz).

And BitScope Micro is fast; it can capture logic at up to 40 MSps and has a 20 MHz analog bandwidth. It can drive frame rate up to 50 Hz with digital phosphor display.

Even on Raspberry Pi it's possible to reach a 30Hz refresh rate!

So what's missing? Not a lot, but if you want to power a circuit from the BitScope or use some other accessories you'll need a BS10 because BitScope Micro does not have power, ground or control signals (via the IDC-10 connector).
